London based singer-songwriter Rhian! shows a different side of his personality with his sassy new dance single. “NO!” was released on April 28th and peaked at number 8 on the UK iTunes Dance Chart. It has also made it’s way onto dance floors in LGBTQ+ clubs across the UK.

The single follows Rhian!’s highly successful Christmas single “Be My Baby This Christmas” which was featured in Music-News, BBC Introducing and the cover story of Scene Magazine. It also appeared on multiple iTunes Holiday Charts around the world. The singer is a two-time silver medalist at the World Championships of Performing Arts in California and performed 12 sold out concerts in Shanghai in 2019. Rhian!’s latest offering “NO!” creates an enjoyable paradox for the listener by threatening to become a full-throated anthem for the disenchanted and disinterested masses while simultaneously offering up a feel that's simply too good to turn down!

“Pure summer vibes” BBC Radio Surrey and Sussex

Originally born in Trinidad, Rhian! Started his journey singing in the church choir at the age of 4 and faced the challenges of concealing his sexuality in his early years. By his teens, made London his home obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Performance and Production from the London Center of Contemporary Music and joining gospel group Souls of Prophecy before landing performances at a wide variety of venues in London and other parts of the UK dazzling audiences with his exuberant style and stage presence.

"It’s a bop" Gaydio

“NO!” really does make you want to say yes, beginning immediately with the instrumentals and extending all the way through the entertainingly unexpected rap section that serves as the song's bridge. There's a certain no-frills quality to the instrumental production that works wonders for the vibe - calling back to EDM classics from the 90s and 00s while keeping a pace and feel that is current. This foundation serves to support Rhian!'s unique and endearing vocal tones nicely, both in the lead lines as well as the numerous ad-libs and callbacks. All of these elements come together to form a vicious melodic hook that sinks itself deeply into the listener's brain and continues to live completely rent-free.

“It’s a song about self-preservation and empowering ourselves by saying no to things and situations that make us uncomfortable or don’t align with our beliefs. It’s ok to say no.” Rhian!

Rhian!’s sound and style carry themselves with a certain ineffable charm, playful enough to be comedic while more than engaging enough to light up a dance floor.
