Celebrated Electric Blues guitarist and singer songwriter Wolf Mail, announces his highly anticipated new studio album "The Wolf is at our door”. Following up on his DVD/live recording in Norway “Oseana Auditorium” this is the 7th studio release for the Canadian native.
“The Wolf is at our door “was pre-released to the media a few weeks ago and entered the
Australian National Blues & Roots charts at Number 2 for most air played album in the country in February 2023. The album will be available to the public March 31, digitally, on CD and limited-edition LP vinyl. “The Wolf is at our door “will be released by Kobalt Music Group and distributed by Sony Music.
The new record has 9 brand new songs. Pre-production was done at Golden retriever studios in Sydney, Australia with overdubs at River studios in Alkmaar, Netherlands. Drums/percussions were recorded by Niko Sarran at Rhythm Studios in the South of France.
For two decades, with unyielding dedication Wolf Mail has sailed his way from clubs to festivals, from small towns to big cities, sharing his passion with fans, relentlessly collecting and creating memories on what would become the musical Canva for his new album.
As an overall listening experience “The Wolf is at our door” delivers a contemporary bluesy feel, plus slow burn vocals and psyche like sonic moments that will remind aficionados of Muddy Water's Electric Mud, especially when listening to the title track.
