Kelsea Ballerini completes an extraordinary UK leg of her HEARTFIRST tour this week. Her first visit to the UK in 4 years saw Ballerini perform to thousands of elated fans across the country. Due to phenomenal demand, the tour which came to Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and London sold out in under 24 hours.

Backed by her dazzling five-piece band, Kelsea centred her sets around her latest album SUBJECT TO CHANGE as gorgeous visuals spiraled around her, performing fan-favourites ‘THE LITTLE THINGS’, ‘MUSCLE MEMORY’, ‘I GUESS THEY CALL IT FALLIN’, ‘YOU'RE DRUNK, GO HOME’ and the playful, Bonnie and Clyde-inspired ‘IF YOU GO DOWN (I'M GOIN’ DOWN TOO)’ plus a medley of deep country hits ‘LOVE IS A COWBOY’ and The Chicks’ iconic hit, ‘Cowboy Take Me Away’.

“Putting this tour together and playing this music it’s been such a happy and healing journey so thank you for that.” Kelsea told the ecstatic crowds during the final show in London “All I ask for this show is for you to feel your feelings, unfiltered, tonight.”

The UK shows saw Ballerini debut material from her “strikingly candid” new EP Rolling Up the Welcome Mat (The New York Times). During her London show at Shepherd's Bush Empire, as the room reached a peak of rich energy, Ballerini chose to slow the pace down, telling the cheering crowds “My life has changed a lot over the last 6 months… I wish I had these songs last year to help get me through them. I don’t think I’ve ever felt such a connection and response on a human level to any music I’ve put out in my career. This is a new song I wrote about a lonely time in my life and I’d like to not sing it alone.” You could hear a pin drop as Ballerini performed, for one of the first times ever live, Penthouse and Leave Me Again.

These songs feature on her intimate six-song EP Rolling Up the Welcome Mat (Black River), released on February 14th. The EP, along with an accompanying short film written and directed by Ballerini, marks the multi-platinum star’s most intimate and honest work to date.

The next time Ballerini will perform will be when she makes her Saturday Night Live debut as musical guest on March 4th alongside host Travis Kelce.

Following her successful UK tour dates, Kelsea Ballerini will launch the second US leg of her exclusive HEARTFIRST Tour, as her new single “IF YOU GO DOWN (I’M GOIN’ DOWN TOO)” continues to climb at Country radio. She recently announced nine new headline shows will take place across North America. The tour kicks off on March 6 at History in Toronto, ON, and will visit cities throughout the Midwest and East Coast, closing out on March 18th at Stage AE in Pittsburgh, PA. The HEARTFIRST Tour will be a prime opportunity to catch Kelsea’s full headline set—following a handful of dates on The Judds: The Final Tour and a sold-out jaunt in the UK throughout February. Meanwhile, she’ll spend the rest of the Spring on Kenny Chesney’s I Go Back Tour.
