‘Gasoline’ is the new single from The Family Rain and their first release since 2021’s single ‘Death In Slow Motion’. The three brothers - twins Will (bass/vocals) and Tim Walter (drums) and older brother Ollie (guitars) - make their return with three minutes of blistering rock and roll, offering a tantalising glimpse of their new material. The release follows a sold out tour of the UK, which saw the band headline The 100 Club in London earlier this month.

Described unapologetically by the band as a “self-glorifying party anthem and rock and roll hype track”, ‘Gasoline’ was produced by Tom Dalgety (Pixies, Ghost, Royal Blood), who the band describe as their ‘fourth member’. The single also arrives with an accompanying video, filmed in the band’s hometown of Bath and featuring band member Will Walter as the devil (more of this to come!) setting the town alight with dance moves, aerosol and ….. Gasoline.

Speaking about the single, The Family Rain say:

“It’s a sonic pick-me-up. Something that our favourite bands (AC/DC, The Rolling Stones) nailed, and what current guitar music shies away from. We wanted to go all the way with this track and make the listener feel like Scarface on steroids. We know it's only rock and roll...but we adore it”

With a new album in the works, 2023 is set to be the year The Family Rain return and firmly consolidate themselves as one of the most visceral and exciting rock bands in the country.
