Madison Beer is set to released her highly-anticipated autobiography ‘The Half Of It’.

The ‘Selfish’ hit-maker is writing her first book about the highs and lows of her life, from being on social media for over 10 years, mental health issues, being discovered by Justin Bieber at age 12, being dropped by her label as a young girl to where she is at now.

She told PEOPLE her inspiration behind it: ‘I really wanted to write this book now because I thought sharing some of the ups and downs in my life might be able to help other people navigate and relate. I called the book The Half of It as I know there will be more evolution and more to my story, but for now, I wanted to share my story in the hope that my journey might be comforting to others.’

When asked about the writing process, Beer said she had been working on the book for over 2 years:

‘It felt very therapeutic, and it felt right to me because when I met my best friend, Lena Fultz, who is a writing major, she was a really big support in helping me write this memoir. And that was huge.’

Fans have been eagerly waiting for new music, with Beer telling fans they don’t have too long to wait.

‘I am so excited for this next album which will be coming soon. Music has always been my first love; it's what lead me to this memoir and what drives me daily. I am really excited for what is next with my music this year.‘

You can pre-order ‘The Half Of It’ now. It will be available worldwide on April 25th 2023 via Harper Collins.
