Roses are red…and Turned Out Fine is the true-blue new single from David Sinclair Four (DS4) – a song celebrating a love that endures to the end of the line: “Well, you and me turned out fine”.

It follows the DS4’s third album, Apropos Blues, which was proclaimed one of the “Top Albums of 2022” in the year-end issue of Blues Matters magazine and which Music-News.com simply called “a superb album”.

The band is led by David Sinclair [vocals / guitar]. Well known, of course for his journalism, David also performed with TV Smith’s Explorers and with London Zoo. He is joined by Geoff Peel [vocals / guitar] who has played in numerous London, blues-circuit bands including The Diplomatics, Gentleman Tim & the Contenders and Julien D’Imperio. Sinclair and Peel are joined on this track by the young blues brothers Jos Mendoza (bass) and Rory Mendoza (drums). The single was produced and mixed by Jack Sinclair.

David Sinclair has taken his band all over the UK, and been invited to support the likes of the late Wilko Johnson, Samantha Fish, Walter Trout, John Otway and many more. With previous production credits going to artists as diverse as Jordan Fish [Bring Me The Horizon] and Robin Trower, plus the likes of Paul Jones and Maxi Priest making contributions, this is an act that is highly regarded.

Turned Out Fine by David Sinclair Four is released on Critical Discs on February 10, 2023
