Hollywood actor and singer Rita Wilson and the celebrated singer-songwriter Richard Hawley will both join Jools Holland onstage for a highly anticipated performance at the Royal Albert Hall on his UK tour this Saturday 26 November.
They will join an already glittering list of special guests on the evening that includes the BRIT award-winning soulstress Celeste and former Fine Young Cannibals frontman Roland Gift.
As well as her career as a Hollywood star featuring in classics such as ‘Sleepless in Seattle’ and ‘Volunteers’, the multi-talented Rita Wilson is also a prolific musician with several albums to her name and an appearance on Jools’ celebrated show Later… Saturday will see her reprise the relationship for a special appearance alongside bandmaster Jools and his orchestra.
Richard Hawley is Jools Holland’s long-time friend and collaborator, with the pair having performed together frequently in the past. Hawley also lent vocals to the Jools Holland & His Rhythm and Blues Orchestra track ‘I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry’.
These special appearances come on the second of two dates at the Royal Albert Hall. Having kicked off in late October, Jools Holland’s tour continues across the UK up until Tuesday 20th December.
The tour follows the release of Jools Holland’s latest star-studded album, ‘PIANOLA. PIANO & FRIENDS’, which came out in November 2021 and features musical luminaries David Gilmour, Sir Tom Jones, Jamie Cullum, Joe Bonamassa and many more.
