Award-winning pop-violinist Lindsey Stirling has released a stunning new visual for ‘Joy To The World’. The whimsical video, directed by Lindsey Stirling, showcases her seamlessly performing across several beautiful locations in Brittany, France. This visual accompanies the track from Stirling’s new Christmas album Snow Waltz (via Concord Records).
Laced with immersive arrangements and mesmerizing melodies, Snow Waltz emerges as a remarkable new entry in the holiday-music canon, proving Stirling’s extraordinary gift as an instrumental storyteller. Featuring eight classic covers and five original tracks, Snow Waltz delivers Stirling’s immersive arrangements and mesmerizing melodies but with a seasonal twist, featuring songs that promise to be the perfect soundtrack for the holiday season. On ‘Joy to the World,’ she joined forces with Gladius and orchestrator Stephen Anderson to create a gloriously stomping, Celtic-inspired take on the 18th-century Christmas carol.
Last week, Lindsey performed several intimate festive shows in collaboration with independent record stores across the UK, including an ethereal performance at Kingston-Upon-Thames’ St John’s Church, before heading back to the US to begin her ‘Snow Waltz’ tour this month.
