The Fizz to perform on The Heritage Chart
19 October 2022
The Fizz, three original members of Eurovision winning group Bucks Fizz, are set to perform on The Heritage Chart.
The chart, which is hosted by Mike Read, airs on Latest TV, consists of the Top 30 new tracks by ‘Heritage artists’, and is completely fan voted.
The Fizz are set to perform two new songs and will be chatting to radio legend Mike Read all about music and their brand new album.
Since 2017, the group, which consists of Cheryl Baker, Mike Nolan and Jay Aston, have released 4 albums with award winning producer Mike Stock, of 80s’ Stock Aitken and Waterman fame.
Last month, the group released her highly anticipated album, ‘Everything Under The Sun’. The new offering, which is drenched in 80s nostalgia, includes 10 new tracks, including a cover by Sir Paul McCartney (This One) and ‘Everything We Do’ which was originally meant for a Ford TV advert, an old Stock Aitken and Waterman demo from the 90s. Instead, Queen’s Brian May got the gig.
The track has since resurfaced, and both The Fizz and Mike, decided to dedicate it to their loyal fanbase, changing the lyrics to ‘Everything We Do (We Do It For You).
Cheryl, Mike and Jay have also confirmed that they are working on a series of music videos to compliment the new album.
Watch The Fizz on ‘The Heritage Chart’ on Freeview Channel 7 and Virgin Media 159 on Latest TV.
You can also listen to the chart on various radio stations including Downforce Radio this Sunday from 7pm.
