The practice of 'music on, world off' is very difficult to apply in the current state of society. Creative efforts to distract one from the overwhelming chaos are not working as well as they used to. Since 2020, the world has been trying to catch a break, but as we head toward the end of another year, people are still looking for answers.

Australian pop duo President Street works to elevate the radio broadcastings with a new rallying, heartfelt single, 'Tell Me Brother,' that acts more of a conversation starter than a distraction. This year, 'Tell Me Brother' works as a wonderful follow-up to the previous medicinal track 'Heal.'

Both 'Heal' and the premiering 'Tell Me Brother' will soon accumulate into an upcoming President Street mini-album. Compared to last year's EP, 'Heartbreak Player,' the duo Pete and Ruby are digging deeper into translating personal experiences to relate to global issues.

President Street shares the inspiration behind the concept for 'Tell Me Brother': "We wanted to challenge the idea of what it means to 'be a man' and the concept of masculinity. We want to direct our message that - rather than being about violence and toxicity, TRUE masculinity is about being strong enough to lead through compassion and understanding and using strength to lift people up rather than hold them down."
