Gayle releases new single 'fmk (with blackbear)'

Fresh from her debut performances at Reading and Leeds, 18-year-old platinum pop singer-songwriter GAYLE has shared her latest track, ‘fmk (with blackbear)’, available now via Atlantic Records/Arthouse Records. Joining forces with platinum singer, songwriter and producer blackbear, the playfully chaotic duet arrives alongside an animated video, directed by award-winning Belgian director Chris Ullens (Rex Orange County, Poppy).

GAYLE shares: "fmk is about the intensities of young love. how someone can make you feel great and terrible simultaneously. not fully knowing if you’re in a toxic relationship or not, because you’ve never had anything else."

‘fmk (with blackbear)’ marks the latest taste of GAYLE’s upcoming EP, ‘a study of the human experience volume two’, out Friday, October 7. The EP was heralded earlier in August with the tongue-in-cheek first drop, ‘indieedgycool’ and the gripping ‘god has a sense of humor’.
