If you are looking for a place where all the fun in the world can be had, look no further than Las Vegas. The so called Sin City features some of the biggest and most luxurious casinos, the grandest and most extravagant stage shows, fabulous magic shows, sensual burlesque dances, and, of course, it is the home to some of the most fantastic concerts and music shows in the world.

When talking about the music of Las Vegas, one can’t not talk about the Rat Pack. Those familiar with the music of the mid-20th century will understand what the Rat Pack refers to. But for those not in the loop, the phrase is a reference to a group of friends and musicians who reached the peak of their popularity in the 40s and 50s. Among them, the most popular one is Frank Sinatra, however, he is not the only one who achieved major success. Errol Flynn, Sammy Davis Jr., Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, etc. were all successful members of the so-called Rat Pack, still remembered today for their contributions to music and popular culture.

In this article, we are going to take a look at a few of the more popular members of the rat pack, whose art and music is still remembered today.

Nat King Cole
Nat King Cole is one of the greatest masters of jazz and blues. He is one of the progenitors of, so-called, “easy-listening” Jazz, which is so popular in casinos today. In fact, the music style is so interlocked with the casino world, that often times, variants of easy-listening jazz are used as background music on certain online casino websites. For those who have visited Las Vegas, and just want to gamble some more, gambling websites are a safe place to play online casino games, and recapture your Las Vegas experience.

But, back to Nat King Cole, who apart from his music and singing career, also starred in a number of film and television shows, and of course, he performed on Broadway. Cole is also the father of popular singer Natalie Cole, who passed away in 2015.

Frank Sinatra
Perhaps the most famous and beloved member of the Rat Pack, Frank Sinatra is one of the best-selling music-artists in the history of the industry. Sinatra’s biggest inspiration was singer and actor Bing Crosby. Frank Sinatra came to prominence in the 1940s, when he stood on top of the world, starring in a number of films, and performing some of the richest venues in the country. In the 50s, however, his acting career took a downturn, and Frank looked to Las Vegas, where he was among the biggest draws, and attracted huge crowds of fans from all over the country, and even the world.

Today, Frank Sinatra is remembered as one of the most successful and influential singers of all time, and his songs are timeless classics, which are still implemented in films and media to this day.

Errol Flynn
While an accomplished singer in his own right, Errol Flynn gained much greater prominence in the cinematic world. Fans of adventure films and old-school cinema in general will instantly recognize the name Errol Flynn as the most iconic Robin Hood in cinema’s history. However, it wasn’t just Robin Hood that he portrayed. Mr. Flynn starred in a number of swashbuckler adventures. He was also famous for his roles in a few of the most beloved and remembered westerns of the period, including Santa Fe Trail and San Antonio.

Errol Flynn is considered one of the most important people in the history of American cinema and has been named the 18th greatest hero in the history of American film, by the American film institute.
