Multi-platinum rock band Bad Wolves are celebrating their sixth number one single at active rock radio this week, as current single “Lifeline” sits atop Mediabase’s chart for the week ending December 4, 2021. The single is the band’s first number one since new singer DL joined the band earlier this year. The song is also the first official single from Bad Wolves’ new album DEAR MONSTERS (stream/download now), released October 29 via Better Noise Music. The album is earning the band critical praise for its dynamic nature and the fresh infusion of life DL’s vocals give the band’s sound. Loudwire wrote of the single, “DL's vocals help to bring a soaring and uplifting quality to the track.” Boasting an impressive 1.5B streams globally, the band continues to grow, nearing 10M streams across platforms for “Lifeline.” The album’s next single is fan favorite track “If Tomorrow Never Comes,” a song which already has multiple millions of streams across platforms and for which the band recently released the official music video.

In a statement, the band said, “We’re so thankful to the fans, the listeners, the radio programmers and everyone else involved with making this song a huge success. This album is something we’re extremely proud of, and we couldn’t be happier to see the world embracing the new music and for welcoming DL into the Bad Wolves Nation so passionately. We look forward to seeing everyone out on the road next year!”

Excited to bring their music to life in this new chapter, Bad Wolves are preparing to hit the road next year. They will join Papa Roach and Hollywood Undead for a slate of North America dates. More information on those dates, venues and tickets will be available later this month at here.

In June, the band members John Boecklin [drums], Doc Coyle [lead guitar, backing vocals], Chris Cain [rhythm guitar], and Kyle Konkiel [bass, backing vocals] officially welcomed DL as the new lead singer of BAD WOLVES, saying, “DL is one of the most talented and hard-working people we have ever had the pleasure to know. He is a team player, a creative force, and overall a great human being who fits perfectly with our BW family. It feels incredible to be surrounded with such positive energy and the music we’ve made is certainly reflective of this new-found optimism and collaborative spirit. This new album shows a more cohesive and unique reflection of the band. There is a lot to prove and expectations are high with a new singer coming in. And we nailed it. We are sure you will agree that this is our best album yet.”

DL has carved out an impressive career for himself over the last 15+ years, most notably as a founding member and lead guitarist of metalcore band The Acacia Strain, in which he was a member from 2001 to 2013. A talented songwriter and producer, he’s also worked on projects with All That Remains, Legion, For the Fallen Dreams, and collaborated with Bad Wolves on their 2019 studio album N.A.T.I.O.N., for which he was credited and where the creative relationship with the band started.
