Concert pianist AyseDeniz Gokcin has launched her latest venture, the
Borderless Piano Academy which features a set of unique online courses, aimed at beginners looking to take on the challenge of learning the piano.

In her latest venture, AyseDeniz Gokcin has created her online learning platform and community, ‘Borderless Piano’, aimed at beginners eager to embark on a new challenge, learn a new skill and become a competent pianist.
The Borderless Piano Community, created by AyseDeniz in the first lockdown as an initiative to give back to her fans, comprises expert teaching, a deep affection for music and a strong commitment to fans around the globe in an effort to encourage more people to play the piano.
Launched on 31 March, the ‘Core Piano Course’ is the first in a series of courses available on the Borderless platform.
As well as offering a methodical teaching approach, taking one through everything from hand position and posture, to writing compositions and performing improvisations, the ‘Core Piano Course’ invites pianists to learn exciting rhythms from Beethoven’s 5th Symphony to Star Wars.
This style of teaching educates musicians both on a classical and a contemporary level, maintaining a fun and unique feel with the integration of modern and traditional pieces. AyseDeniz also uses her social media to make announcements and share videos of her new repertoires which are available.
Once the students finish the Core Course, they can build repertoire by selecting a Repertoire Course based on their choice of genre. AyseDeniz gives the students inputs in the private Facebook Group dedicated to the course, which makes the course distinctly different from other courses.
Following an astonishing response on social media with her piano videos, AyseDeniz was inspired to create Borderless after receiving messages from both amateur pianists and their parents, asking for musical advice during the lockdown.
As someone who feels passionate and supported by her large online fanbase, AyseDeniz not only wanted to share her skills as a concert pianist but also create a community in which like-minded musicians could connect further, particularly during a time when many of us felt disconnected with our normal day-to-day activities
In the courses which follow, pianists will have the opportunity to play from a range of AyseDeniz’ repertoires: from classical, to romantic, to rock.
By no means is Borderless Piano a platform which forces you to slave over the keys; instead, it takes the individual through a fun learning process, where they can share their success by posting and tagging AyseDeniz online, as well as having the opportunity to play alongside her virtually in a live video.
The launch of Borderless follows her most recent release of the single ‘Winter Song’ in February, a piece reminiscent of youth, love and memories of exotic travels during happier times.
AyseDeniz has grown both as an artist and as a social media influencer, boasting a large following base on multiple platforms: 83.5K fans on Instagram; 183K fans on Facebook; 117,414 monthly listeners on Spotify; over 7.5 million views on YouTube and 130K fans on TikTok hitting 2.5 million views last week.
She is renowned for her contemporary arrangements of classical music crossed with other genres, including rock, heavy metal and pop.
