In a chart battle for the #1 spot with his 'Made In The Pyrex' mixtape, Drill sensation Digga D has today announced a series of live shows for this coming October. Marking the first time he will have ever performed to a live audience; the run will see Digga begin the tour in Bournemouth and conclude in his hometown of London.
Further to releasing his highly-anticipated mixtape, ‘Made In The Pyrex’ last week, the project unveil comes straight off the back of a phenomenal few weeks for 20-year-old Digga D after his most recent single ‘Bringing it Back’ reached #5 in the charts, his highest charting single to date and Also his first to be added to the BBC Radio 1 playlist.
Featuring his 2020 hit single’s 'Chingy' and 'Woi' - both of which charted in the UK at #24 and #18 retrospectively – ‘Made In The Pyrex’ showcases the lyrical dexterity of the West-London rapper, independently cementing his position within drill, a genre which he has spearheaded over the last few years. Firmly poised to have a break-out year, Digga D has continuously been commended for his consistent work rate during which he showcases his technical lyrical ability and charisma, married with his unorthodox flow.
His 2019 hit single ‘No Diet’ peaked at #20 in the UK singles chart and to date, has amassed over 21 million YouTube views. Shortly after, his debut mixtape ‘Double Tap Diaries’ charted at #11, making it the highest charting debut for a UK solo drill artist, ever. With over 300 million global streams under his belt, last year Digga D also became the first solo drill artist to be nominated, and subsequently win an AIM Independent Music Award. Thereafter he was nominated for a MOBO Award for ‘Song of The Year’, as well as ‘Best Rap Track’ at DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards.
