Grammy and Brit award-winning British soul sensation Joss Stone is releasing her first solo single in three years, ’Walk With Me’, on 11 Dec through S-Curve Records/BMG. The new single was co-written and co-produced by long-time collaborator Jonathan Shorten. Returning to the label that helped launch her career, (president Steve Greenberg together with Betty Wright and Michael Mangini, worked with Stone on the release of her monumental debut album ‘The Soul Sessions’), Stone releases stand-alone single ‘Walk With Me’, which addresses the importance of unity and walking together in times of difficulty. Stone’s distinctive vocal takes centre stage on the uplifting track, through searing arcs of intensity and virtuosic runs, while interplaying with the rich gospel voices of Legato Vocal Ensemble.

Stone states “This song started out as a romantic song asking someone to walk through life with you. When we got to working on it so much had happened with the pandemic, and the doctors and nurses who have given so much of their lives to helping others, as well as what happened with George Floyd, so I rewrote the song. Everyone needs to come together in order to survive this life in peace….Let’s walk together. Through it all.”

Stone’s last solo project, the 2015 album ‘Water for Your Soul’ achieved number-one reggae album on release and was voted best reggae album by Billboard. At just 33, Stone has already enjoyed a long career. She signed to a major label at 15, and rose to international success with her critically acclaimed debut album, ‘The Soul Sessions’, aged 16. She has released 7 studio albums and sold over 15 million albums worldwide, won many awards including Grammys and Brit Awards, and had over 1 billion streams in the US alone.

Stone has kept the company of musical royalty from the outset. Performing alongside legendary artists such as James Brown, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Sting, Van Morrison and Melissa Etheridge amongst many others. Additionally, she has collaborated with, and contributed to albums for many of the world’s finest musicians, including Jeff Beck, Sting, Mick Jagger and Damien Marley.

Stone has completed her most audacious project to date, The Total World Tour, in which she has performed a gig and collaborated with local artists in over 200 countries around the world. Recently, Stone has launched a weekly podcast ‘A Cuppa Happy’ and an online cooking show 'Cooking with Joss' that airs every Sunday on Facebook and garners over 80k viewers each time.
