Fatcat is an 11-year-old Miami native. His Hip Hop/Rap style draws influences from artists such as XXXTentacion, Lil Wayne, Drake, Migos, and DJ Khaled. His unique style caught the interest of superstar That Girl Lay Lay, a 13-year-old Hip Hop artist who is the youngest female rapper to sign with a record label.
“I love music. I want to make music that is positive and kid-friendly,” said Fatcat during an October 2020 live-podcast interview on Everyday Folk Radio.
With 35,000 plus followers on Instagram, Fatcat is an emerging star. His popularity started on social media, which later led to a YouTube channel (Fatcat Cannon) of video content. With nearly 5,000 subscribers, Fatcat’s largest viewing featured a video tribute to the late XXXTentacion’s “Hope,” which garnered over 400,000 views. Other popular video-songs ``Watch Me” (with more than 37,000 views) and “Tanner Fox' (with more than 45,000 views) continue to receive praise. Fatcat’s freestyle renditions to Megan Thee Stallion and Beyonce “Savage ' was picked up by Worldstar; the group featured his video-hit “Watch me,” which garnered 1.5 million views.
In July 2020, Fatcat performed at the KROK Center in Norfolk, Virginia, to a large audience (following social distancing guidelines). Fatcat has been featured on WPLG Local 10 News, Miami Community News, media blogs, and podcasts.
