Every week, Music News and Liberty Music look at the best new releases from emerging and self-releasing artists.

Tinx – ‘Crush’

Having already cemented herself with a string of bold and impressive alt-pop gems in recent months, Swedish-born but London-based artist Tinx now returns with her version of a true 90s classic ‘Crush’. Covering the unmistakable 1998 Jennifer Paige hit, her new rendition fills the single with hard beats and pulsing production, bringing this slice of nostalgia bang up to date.

Maripo$a – ‘Call Me Back’

Following on from the release of her latest single ‘Call Me Back’ earlier this year, LA-based singer and songwriter Maripo$a now returns with the official video for her latest gem. With nods to Madonna and the sparkling 80s sound, these new self-directed visuals offer up more of her vibrant personality through a lens of bright and shimmering aesthetics.

Keeana Kee – ‘Sweet Heaven’

With a string of bold and uplifting pop-based releases already out this year, Latvian-born, London-raised and now New York-based singer and songwriter Keeana Kee is back with another bright and impressive offering ‘Sweet Heaven’. Filled with a rich and textured production from start to finish, expect this one to get your hips moving in no time.

Reneé Dominique & Bloome – ‘The Rose’

With both artists already clocking up millions of streams online for their own material of late, singer Reneé Dominique and production trio Bloome now team up on this dancefloor filler ‘The Rose’. Taking influence from a smooth and sultry RnB flow and combining it with bold and pulsing beats gives this new release a brilliantly captivating feel throughout.

Michael Seuss – ‘The Nastiest’

With a strong love and affinity for the more classic side of hip-hop, US rapper Michael Seuss now returns with his latest head-nodding jam ‘The Nastiest’. Channelling ‘The Black Album’ era Jay-Z throughout, this fresh yet familiar groove gives the MC a huge and pulsing persona that he injects into every beat on this new cut.
