First Aid Kit is the fourth act to be announced for Latitude Festival 2021. The band is also releasing their cover of Willie Nelson’s classic “On The Road Again”. Proceeds of the track will be donated to Crew Nation.

Renowned for cultivating artists, Latitude is thrilled to welcome back First Aid Kit for their fourth appearance. Johanna and Klara Soderberg packed out the Latitude's Sunrise stage way back in 2009 and have steadily risen up the bill on the main stage playing the Obelisk Arena in both 2012 and 2014. In 2021 they rise up the bill again to play the penultimate slot. Latitude is the perfect setting for their picturesque brand of folk pop.

Throughout each of their times appearing at Latitude, the Swedish sisters have offered their mix of honeyed harmonies and unique Americana and Latitude loves them. The festival is especially thrilled to have them in 2021 as it is the band's only confirmed show of 2021.

First Aid Kit—Johanna and Klara Soderberg—also share their archived cover of Willie Nelson’s classic “On The Road Again” today, alongside an incredibly charming homemade tour video. The band’s first release since 2018’s Ruins LP and Tender Offerings EP, “On The Road Again” is a previously unreleased cover that First Aid Kit made 7+ years ago, and is another lovely addition to their extensive catalog of covers. Proceeds will be donated to Crew Nation in support of the global touring community until everyone can, in fact, be on the road again.

Listen to “On The Road Again” and watch the video, culled from the band’s tour footage and edited entirely by Johanna prior to giving birth to her daughter a few weeks ago, now.

We're excited to release our version of “On The Road Again” by Willie Nelson. We recorded this cover a couple of years ago and recently found it while digging through the archives. The song is a country classic, it feels like we've known it forever. Because of the situation with COVID, sadly, the theme of the song has never felt more relevant than it does today.

We made a video for the song using cellphone footage from our tours throughout the years. Going through all those videos made us emotional. It made us realize how much we appreciate being able to roam freely around the world. How much we love the feeling of playing live for people, in the flesh. How much we miss our incredible band and crew.

All the proceeds from the streaming of the song will go to Crew Nation. So much of the magic happens behind the stage. It's easily taken for granted, but without our touring and venue crew live music wouldn't be possible. It's important that we help them out right now.

Oh, how we wish we could get back on the road again! Hopefully we'll see you down the road sometime soon.
