Today Mystery Jets reveal details of their podcast, Things Worth Fighting For​, which will launch on 1s June. The first episode will see lead singer Blaine Harrison discuss aid work and the refugee crisis with Josie Naughton from Help Refugees. Things Worth Fighting For is a podcast that explores stories of resilience from writers, musicians, comedians and activists who have not only had to overcome adversity but have used their voice to empower others in the fight for social justice. The podcast is hosted by Mystery Jets’ Blaine Harrison, who was born with Spina Bifida and is an advocate for accessibility and equality in the arts.

Themes covered across the series include; The Refugee Crisis; Justice for Grenfell; Climate Change; Female Role Models & Gender Equality; Racial & Class Discrimination in Britain; Protest Culture; Homelessness Action & Addiction; Toxic Masculinity; The NHS & disabled rights; Mental Health in the Digital Age.
Each of the ten episodes will centre around a conversation with a special guest and feature accompanying music from a different song off Mystery Jets’ critically acclaimed album ​A Billion Heartbeats, ​related to the topics discussed. Blaine will host the podcast with guest appearances from;
