Braxton Stunner began to chase his vision of becoming one of New Orleans, LA's next icons with his debut 'Braxton Stunner EP' in 2017. The forthcoming "Rookie Year (EP)", releasing May 11th, 2020, now sees Stunner's journey naturally progress to the next level.
Tales of greatness often start with a precise consciousness, but Braxton tends to see life as a random process. A pathway filled with choices, opportunities, and faith in which to truly find your inner passion. Music materialises in different ways. It comes to the surface from deep within Stunner's inner psyche a place where the love of music was cast and is constantly evolving to fit the perfect form.
Early in Stunner's childhood growing up in New Orleans he fell in love with hip hop just as New Orleans icon Lil Wayne was creating seismic shifts in the music industry. Starting out by writing poems, Stunner began to welcome the stabilising influence that letting his thoughts flow on paper had on him. In 2012 during high school he was witness to rapper Lil Wayne and his YMCMB group's continued rise. Spurred on by Lil Wayne, Drake, Nick Minaj, & Tyga, Stunner was inspired to create his own brand of music.
