Birmingham’s finest, MIST, made history when he broke into the UK official charts Top 5 with his critically acclaimed EP Diamond In The Dirt, which peaked at #4. Now, in the wake of performing at Drake's Birmingham tour date last night, Mist is sharing his brand new single. Set to dominate the UK scene once again and make 2019 the year of #SickMade, “Can’t Stop Clocks” is a hard hitting autobiographical track that sees Mist detailing his come up.

Filmed in London, and directed by Daps, the accompanying video sees Mist gifted a Rolex by his onscreen love interest. The watch allows him to stop time, enabling him to get out of some tricky situations, as he travels through London. A stark reminder, that you can’t pause time and life continues, no matter what. Speaking on the video, Mist states: “ “Can’t Stop Clocks” came from an idea I had about the judge being able to lock locks but we can’t stop the clocks. For all my brothers locked down and what not. The idea of the video came from a program I watched as a child called Bernard’s Watch - I’ve been watching Daps for a minute and I knew he’d be able to bring the idea to life and he did!”

Mist’s 2018 Diamond In The Dirt EP contained a number of incredible guest features, including the likes of Nines, Mr Eazi, Fekky, MoStack, and more. The project took us on a journey of the unique Mist sound and flow; with lyrical content of a heartfelt and honest emotional nature - something that Mist has become known for. Talking on topics that are usually avoided in rap, (the death of his mother, and his love for his daughter), Mist has carved a name for himself as a rapper with substance and credibility. After returning in 2018 with his single "Game Changer", complete with a trademark cinematic visual (Directed by The Rite Brothers), filmed in Kenya, Mist rocketed into the UK Top 40, and landed himself on both the Radio 1 and 1XTRA playlist.

MIST has accumulated over 90 million views on YouTube. He won the MOBO Award for ‘Best Video’ in 2017, and is set to floor fans and critics this year even more with his new material, which has so far garnered support from the likes of GQ Style, The Fader, Noisey, Complex, Clash, Crack Magazine, Notion Magazine and more.

Having sold-out his first UK tour, MIST went on to treble the tour dates on his second sold-out tour, in order to accommodate for the level of demand from his fans. Mist most recently played his third tour, including a spectacular sold-out show at 02 Kentish Town Forum.

An unavoidable talent, MIST is definitely putting Birmingham on the map.
