Introducing, for the first time ever, LIVE AT DOWN HALL, an exciting alfresco weekend of music that will see two world-class musicians perform in June 2019. Set in 110 acres of beautiful woodland and gardens on the Hertfordshire/Essex border, the stunning hotel grounds will be transformed into a concert space for two unforgettable evenings of live music from Jools Holland and James Morrison.
Supremely talented pianist Jools Holland and His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra will be the first to perform on the Live at Down Hall stage, on Saturday 15th June. Special guest acts on the evening will include famed English drummer Gilson Lavis and boogie-woogie queens Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall. An additional guest act will be announced soon!
Brit Award winning singer-songwriter James Morrison will then take to the stage with his highly distinctive, soulful tones on Sunday 16th June performing some of his most popular songs You Give Me Something and Broken Strings.
With a number of ticket options available for the weekend from general admission to Ultimate VIP, guests can look forward to an unforgettable experience. Enjoy a picnic on the gorgeous hotel grounds with a glass of Champagne with a Picnic Experience ticket. Alternately, Down Hall invites guests to get up close to the stage and be VIPs for the day, including a complimentary cocktail upon arrival, three-course BBQ on the lawn with wine and access to the VIP area and bar. Those looking for a complete weekend getaway should book the VIP Overnight Experience for two, which includes a luxurious suite, Champagne and canapé reception, three-course dinner and an after-concert party including a buffet, drinks and live jazz band.

Arrive from 15:00 and receive a complimentary arrival drink. Enjoy a luxury three course BBQ on the hotel lawn accompanied by a resident pianist. Includes a glass of wine and a Rossi ice cream before or during the event. Gain access to the exclusive event VIP area including front of stage viewing area, private bar & toilets.
• VIP Ultimate Overnight Experience for Two – from £690
The ultimate VIP experience for two including a luxurious bedroom on the night of the event, private Champagne & canapé reception prior to a three course pre-performance dinner. Receive a luxury welcome hamper, VIP car parking, access to the VIP area including front of stage viewing area, private bar, toilets and a Rossi ice cream.
Once the concert has finished, return to the hotel to enjoy an evening buffet and live band until midnight before retiring to your room. Wake up to a full English breakfast before checking out at 11.00am.
