The winners at the second annual Heavy Music Awards have been announced at a packed London Koko, with some of heavy music's biggest hitters taking glory.
Host Sophie K welcomed well over 1,000 guests – a mix of artists, industry and fans – to a ceremony which celebrates the year’s best across heavy music’s many sides.
Announced in between live sets by The Fever 333, Milk Teeth, Black Peaks and Coldbones, and prior to an afterparty hosted by Emo Night UK, the winners include Metallica, Architects, Gojira, Ed Mason, Milk Teeth, Knocked Loose, a Best Album gong for While She Sleeps and a huge victory in Best Festival for France's Hellfest Open Air.
