Mo Jamil, winner of The Voice UK 2017, returns with new single 'That Feeling'

Mo Jamil, reigning champion of The Voice UK, returns to the spotlight with his incredible new single 'That Feeling', released Friday 2 March via Polydor Records.
Since winning the show early last year, Mo has spent the majority of 2017 working on his debut solo music and honing his craft alongside some of the most hotly-tipped writers and producers in the world including Mr. Hudson, Maths Times Joy (Bebe Rexha, Snakehips, Mary J Blige), Artery Music (RAYE, Dua Lipa) and James Earp (Rebecca Ferguson, Mel C, Nina Nesbitt).
'That Feeling', the first single from Mo’s debut album ‘Evolve’, is a rousing and powerful instant pop classic, showered in soaring strings, with an epic chorus that will be stuck in your head for days. Mo’s trademark rich and soulful vocals are in full force throughout the song, demonstrating why he is one of the UK's most talented and exciting artists.
Written with Swedish musician, producer and songwriter David Kjellstrand, Mo will perform ‘That Feeling’ on The Voice Live Semi-Final on Saturday 31 March.
Speaking of the release, Mo said: “As soon as I started collaborating with David on this song, I knew that it was a perfect fit for the record. The lyrics and undertone resonated with me immediately and I knew it had to be the first single from my new album.”
Closely mentored by coach Jennifer Hudson, 22-year-old Mo won The Voice UK 2017 with more than 60% of the votes. His victory song ‘Unsteady’ went straight to the top of the iTunes chart.
‘That Feeling’, the brand new single from Mo Jamil, is released Friday 2 March. Mo’s debut album ‘Evolve’ is released Friday 30 March and is available to pre-order on Friday 2 March.
