Vevo has today announced that multi-platinum award winning artists Fifth Harmony will be the first act to take part in a very special edition of Vevo Live on Friday, 25th August, live from LA, at 11.45pm to celebrate the release of their self-titled album that day.
Forty very special invited fans will get the chance to see the girls in person discussing their third studio album, Fifth Harmony, and answering questions from fans tuning in around the world through a host that will join the group on stage to moderate the chat.
The girls will also premiere their new video for ‘He Like That’ during the special edition.
Vevo Live is a multiple screen co-viewing experience. This exclusive Vevo product allows artists to engage in a live video chat with their fans, giving artists the ability to broadcast interactively alongside music videos to their audiences.
Vevo Live users can all be on different devices and in different locations. With video broadcast capabilities fans are now able to get a deeper engagement with the artist, while keeping the music video at the heart and center of the experience.
During a Vevo Live event, fans are also able to ask questions directly through the keyboard chat function, but now with the addition of invited fans, Fifth Harmony will also interacting with some of their super-fans.
Fifth Harmony’s Vevo Live will be broadcast on Vevo.com. Fans can join through a special URL on mobile or desktop devices with the action also streamed on Youtube. To chat with the artists, fans must engage through Vevo.com.
