The xx announce full details of their O2 Academy Brixton run of shows
Featuring: Sampha, Kelela, Robyn RBN/RMX Live, Francis and the Lights, Cat Power, Jehnny Beth, The London Contemporary Orchestra Performs Mica Levi, Floating Points, Reprezent Radio, Whirled Cinema, Jamie xx, Hustlebucks, Trouble Vision, Deviation, Brother May, Coby Sey and Mica Levi presents Curl and more.

The xx are set to bring their highly acclaimed Night + Day series to Brixton, London from 8th-15th March. The London trio launched Night + Day in 2013 with a run of personally-curated events in Lisbon, Berlin and London that took place in unique locations and featured incredible line ups handpicked by the band themselves.
Announced today (Tuesday 14th February), Night + Day Brixton is the next chapter in that series of events and will encompass The xx’s previously-announced, record breaking run of seven nights at London’s legendary O2 Academy Brixton venue. Artistically-led, it will feature a series of creative collaborations with musicians, producers, DJs, local partners and charities that The xx are passionate about. And while all the O2 Academy Brixton shows are already sold out, there will be a host of additional events in and around Brixton for fans to enjoy.
The xx O2 Academy Brixton Line Ups:
Across their seven O2 Brixton Academy headline shows, The xx will be joined by some of their favourite musicians, with a different artist supporting them each night. Those artists are:
Wednesday 8th March: Sampha + Joy Orbison
Thursday 9th March: Kelela + Ben UFO b2b Beatrice Dillon
Friday 10th March: Robyn RBN / RMX Live + Benji B
Saturday 11th March: Francis and the Lights + Floating Points (DJ set)
Monday 13th March: Cat Power (solo) and Jehnny Beth (solo piano) + SIREN Djs
Tuesday 14th March: The London Contemporary Orchestra Performs Mica Levi + Daniel Brandt (DJ set)
Wednesday 15th March: Floating Points (live band) + Gilles Peterson

Although all The xx’s headline shows are already sold out, the band are advising fans who wish to swap their tickets for different nights to head to their special Night + Day Brixton page on Twickets: http://nightandday.twickets.co.uk . Before trading your ticket, be sure to find one to your preferred show date to ensure attendance.
Jamie xx O2 Academy Brixton All-Dayer – Sunday 12th March
Jamie xx will headline and host an all day party (2pm-8pm) at the O2 Academy Brixton on Sunday 12th March, with all proceeds going to local charities (see below)
Jamie's artist ticket presale will begin on Wednesday, February 15th at 10am GMT. Be sure to register your email address at http://jamiexx.com/#follow before midnight on Tuesday to gain access to the presale. Tickets will go on general sale Friday, February 17th at 10am GMT.

Reprezent Radio
The xx and Reprezent Radio will collaborate on a week of programming from 8th-15th March. This will feature shows by some of the artists performing at Night + Day Brixton, live broadcasts from the O2 Academy Brixton and from Night + Day after parties, and unique shows co-hosted by Reprezent DJs and Night + Day artists.

Whirled Cinema Curated By The xx
The xx will curate a week of daytime film screenings from 8th-15th March at the Whirled Cinema. Each day will have a different theme and a full timetable of events will be announced shortly.

The xx Pop Up Shop @ POP Brixton
The xx have teamed up with local youth enterprise Hustlebucks (www.hustlebucks.co.uk/) to produce a run of limited-edition merchandise. This will be sold exclusively via a pop up store at POP Brixton (https://www.popbrixton.org/) during Night + Day Brixton.

Help and support comes from Artist Pledge (www.artistpledge.co), a nonprofit that empowers artists with the knowledge, research & resources to support social causes effectively. For Night + Day, Artist Pledge is integrating a number of local charity youth programmes including Hustlebucks, an apprenticeship programme and other music career development projects. Artist Pledge will be collecting donations through tickets sales and guest list allocation, with all proceeds going to the local charities.
