The Ultimate Seminar is back, bringing together the cream of industry insiders to share their top tips for music business success.

Devised by Cre8ing Vision and sponsored by Island Records, RCA, Polydor, Ministry of Sound, PRS, Casio, Arts Council, BMI, Odd Child Music and Virgin EMI, Europe’s only free major music seminar invites aspiring young music professionals to a series of panel discussions chaired by renowned and credible industry leaders at this one-day annual event.

New speakers added to the bill include singer-songwriter (Little Mix, Olly Murs) Maegan Cottone; Managing Director Imagem Music UK (Daft Punk, Kaiser Chiefs, Mark Ronson) Kim Frankiewicz; BBC Radio DJ MistaJam; Artist Manager (Disciples, Wiley) John Woolf; UMG artist Mabel and DJ, Producer Cadenza, among others.

To kick-off the event there will be an opening video Q&A with CEO & Chairman of Universal Music, David Joseph, which will be screened exclusive for attendees only.

Seminar guests can participate in speed-networking sessions, register for music masterclasses and pose questions directly to panellists throughout the day.

A ‘Be Inspired’ panel chaired by seminar co-founder, music manager, writer and producer Kwame Kwaten will include insights from Nick Raphael, President of Capitol Records UK who has signed the likes of Jay Z, Sam Smith, 5 Seconds of Summer, Paloma Faith, Aloe Blacc and Olly Murs.

BBC Broadcaster Nihal Arthanayake will present ‘The Creative Breakers’ panel with career highlights from MOBO award-winning producer and singer-songwriter Shakka, prolific new producer and DJ Cadenza and Atlantic Records publicist and owner of Wired PR Rachel Campbell whose roster includes multi-platinum selling artist Bruno Mars and acclaimed grime artist Stormzy.

Jin Jin and Maegan Cottone, writers behind hits for Jess Glynne, Little Mix, Olly Murs, Foxes and Tinie Tempah will head up a PRS ‘Lesson in Song’ panel on song-writing chaired by renowned music journalist and author Hattie Collins.

Capital XTRA DJ Manny Norte will host a ‘Breakthrough Artist’ panel featuring rising stars six-piece indie rock band Young Kato; rapper, songwriter Nick Brewer; grime MC Yungen and singer-songwriters Mabel, Ray Blk, and Starling.
