Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band is by far the biggest ticket seller of 2016 so far and Madonna isn’t far behind.

Springsteen leads the Billboard list of the top grossing tours so far this year based on reports from between November 10, 2015 and June 6, 2016. During that seven month period, Bruce and the gang brought in $135 million with 1.1 million paying ticketholders in 45 shows.



That number beats out number 2 Madonna by $11 million as she brings in $124 million with 741 thousand ticketholders at 58 shows. Third is Beyonce with $97 million with 783 thousand tickets sold for just 18 shows, an impressive showing with $5.4 million per show compared to Springsteen’s $3 million and Madonna’s $2.1 million.

Other veteran artists in the top ten were the Rolling Stones (#4), David Gilmour (#7) and Iron Maiden (#8).

Live Nation was the top promoter, almost doubling the take of second place AEG Live. The biggest grossing venues in the world are O2 Arena, London (15,0001+ capacity), SSE Hydro, Glasgow, Scotland (10,001 to 15,000), Radio City Music Hall, New York (5,001 to 10,000) and The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas (5,000 and under).
