In a video Q&A with his fans trance legend Armin van Buuren, described Paul van Dyk's fall as the toughest challenge of his career.

The Dutchman, ranked No.1 DJ in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll a record five times, cited Paul's van Dyk's fall and subsequent hospitalization at ASOT 750 Utrecht as the toughest challenge of his career when asked by a fan.



The fall meant that van Buuren did not go on to play his exclusive vinyl only set in front of thousands of fans who had bought a ticket for the event and the host DJ explained canceling was the most difficult decision he has ever had to make. He went on to describe his relief at the news van Dyk would go on to make a full recovery and expressed his excitement at the prospect of seeing him behind the DJ booth again.
