Editors return with a new single and an extensive run of festival appearances for the summer alongside shows with Manic Street Preachers in the UK.

Having released their fifth studio album, ‘In Dream’ last year, a record that singer Tom Smith remarked upon as an exercise in making music that was ‘both pop and experimental’, the band ended the year with a run of high profile and high selling dates across Europe and the UK including three sold out nights at Amsterdam’s Heineken Music Hall and a sell-out London return at Hammersmith’s Apollo.

‘Forgiveness’ amply demonstrates that desire to ignore genres by mixing a loose dancefloor beat with spiraling melodies and a highly politicized lyric.

Editors 'Forgiveness' 20th May 2016.
