John Newman: I’m doing acting auditions

Free Radio Live took place at the Genting Arena in Birmingham this Saturday and John Newman chatted to Free Radio and Adam Wilbourn.

On wether he would he ever consider acting he revealed...

“I’m doing bit. I’m working on bits. I’m really interested in it, I studied drama at school and it’s something that I’m trying to do in my music videos but I’m just not getting enough out of that and I don’t want to push it too far, to ruin my music videos by trying to overact. The place to let out that creative area that I’m trying to get to by doing that is acting. I’m doing a few auditions and I’m making sure I’m getting in the right things. Just to do it in a credible manner.”
