People say The Distillers are a lot like their punk forefathers. In choosing to cover the classic "Spider-Man" theme song, they're getting more like them.

The band recorded its version of the theme song to the '70s cartoon for an upcoming Spidey video game. Both The Ramones and The Mr. T Experience covered the song in the past.
