Selena Gomez has absolutely no regrets about her career.

The 23-year-old singer has just released her new album Revival and took part in a Q&A session with fans on Twitter on Friday (09Oct15).

Selena has enjoyed a lengthy career, going from a child star to film actress and well-respected singer.

During the chat, Selena was asked about a range of topics including whether or not she would like to change anything in her past.

Asked to identify the biggest regret of her career, Selena replied “Zero. Even if it's sucked. Haha.”

She also shared the best piece of advice she was ever given, telling her fans: “Everything happens for a reason. Learn to grow from every single moment.”

Revival is Selena’s second studio album, and features the singles The Heart Wants What It Wants and Good for You.

She has worked incredibly hard on making the record and feels it successfully reflects the point she has reached in her life so far.

Describing the record as “inspirational and empowering”, Selena added that while recording several songs, she struggled to control her emotions because the lyrics are so powerful.

“Yea at moments,” Selena said when a fan asked if she had almost cried during the recording sessions. “Sometimes I had no idea how to say what I wanted to say.”

As well as an eventful professional career, Selena’s personal life has also caused her to hit headlines over the years.
She had an on-off relationship with singer Justin Bieber, which came to an end once and for all in 2014.

Selena was asked about how she copes with the more difficult situations in her life, to which she replied: “Have no choice but to just feel the pain, ask a million questions, pick yourself up and move forward. It sucks.”

The stunning singer has managed to do just that and is embarking on an exciting new chapter in her life.
But she admits she has no idea how she has managed to reach where she is today.

“I don't think I ever thought I'd be here but I am beyond grateful,” she said.
