Kate Moss’ marriage with Jamie Hince has reportedly reached “the point of no return”.

The 41-year-old supermodel and her 46-year-old musician beau married in July 2011.

But after months of rumours surrounding the state of their relationship, British newspaper The Sun has claimed the couple have called time on their romance.

“They are properly over as a married couple,” a mutual friend revealed. “It’s gone past the point of no return.

“Jamie’s just waiting for Kate to move forward with divorce proceedings. Neither are in any hurry but they both suspect there won’t be a reconciliation.

“They accept they’ll probably have to make some sort of statement but don’t want to feel forced into anything.”

According to the publication, it is Kate’s jealousy of her husband’s female friends that began to cause issues with their marriage.

The Kills rocker apparently became frustrated with his wife’s paranoia.

“Jamie’s been clear that they’ve not been close for a long time,” another friend told The Sun.

“She’s always been beyond jealous about his female friends and he was sick of it.”

News of the reported split comes after Kate opened up about her wedding day in an interview with Stella magazine earlier this month.

Speaking about the happy occasion, Kate said it was when she felt at her most stunning.

"I felt my most beautiful at my wedding. It was the most gorgeous day, with beautiful lighting and the dress [by John Galliano] was just amazing," she said. "I think it took 80 hours to hand-sew the sequins on. The whole day was just perfect."
