Azealia Banks has been forced to cancel her Glastonbury Festival set.

The 24-year-old rapper was scheduled to perform on Saturday at the famous annual music gathering, which is held in Somerset, England.

But Azealia simply can’t play the show due to medical matters.

“Today I was put on vocal rest by my Doctor which is forcing me to cancel Glastonbury,” she confirmed in a statement released to MailOnline.

Azealia is upset about having to pull out of her gig at the last minute.

She really wanted to entertain fans with a rocking show.

“You have no idea how frustrated and sad this makes me because I love the UK and Glastonbury so much,” the star added in her statement. “You have all supported me from the early days and I was really looking forward to putting on an incredible show for you all, rain or shine!

“Please know, that as soon as I’m allowed to be on stage again, when I have a full bill of health, I will be back! I hope you understand and I look forward to seeing you all again soon.”

Azealia’s slot will be replaced by Irish band The Strypes, who are elated to perform in her place.

Glastonbury is full of surprises this year.

The Foo Fighters had to pull out of their gig because lead singer Dave Grohl broke his leg.

And to the shock of many fans, Pete Doherty’s band The Libertines filled the Foo Fighters’ place Friday night ahead of the Florence + the Machine show.
