Hailee Steinfeld wishes people would call her ‘The Trinity’ on a daily basis.
The True Grit actress was one of the many famous faces to feature in Taylor Swift’s latest music video Bad Blood. She appeared as three identical people called ‘The Trinity’ and loved every minute of it.
“Taylor called me... about the video, and she was like, ‘I’ll send you the treatment and it’ll explain it a lot better, [but] there’s going to be three of you!’” she told USA Today. “And I was like, ‘That’s going to be awesome. I have no idea what this is, but I obviously trust her and this is going to be amazing.’”
When Hailee got to set she had a number of ideas and asked the 25-year-old for help to finalise what she should go for as she was having some trouble deciding.
“‘The Trinity’ just seemed to fit and it sounds awesome. I wish people would just call me that on a daily basis because it’s so cool,” she laughed.
The video features Taylor’s other BFFs including Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne as well as big names like Cindy Crawford and Jessica Alba.
Fans have gone wild for the footage and are desperate to see an extended cut, as is Hailee.
“Oh, because it’s practically a movie? I don’t know anything, but that would be awesome,” she agreed.
Hailee also took the time to praise her friend during her chat with the outlet.
“I’m able to look up to her for just about everything. She’s definitely given me advice, and for the most part, it’s almost as if she doesn’t have to,” she explained. “She sets such an incredible example for everyone - let alone just me - that she’s such an inspiration. I really do look up to her as an artist and as a person.”
