Kelly Clarkson is struggling with tiredness.

The 32-year-old singer and her husband Brandon Blackstock welcomed their daughter River into the world last June.

And Kelly took to Twitter on Tuesday to admit to fans that her fatigue was getting the best of her after one vital piece of her kitchen equipment broke.

“River is napping. My coffee machine broke,” Kelly tweeted. “In desperate need of coffee. Really wish Starbucks, Crema, or Fido delivered. #momproblems.”

Kelly’s plaintive tweet came after she opened up about her post-pregnancy weight battle. The singer has hit headlines in recent months after names including British journalist Katie Hopkins suggested she should have snapped back into shape more quickly following River’s birth.

But Kelly admits she has always struggled with her weight, and slimming down isn’t currently at the top of her priority lit.

“There are just some people who are born skinny and with a great metabolism – that is not me,” she told Redbook magazine.

“I wish I had a better metabolism. But someone else probably wishes they could walk into a room and make friends with everyone like I can. You always want what someone else has.”

“I don't obsess about my weight, which is probably one of the reasons why other people have such a problem with it.”

Kelly also spoke about her relationship with Brandon. While many marriages hit speedbumps after the birth of a child, Kelly insists she and her spouse are happier than ever.

“I always swore ours would not be a relationship where we have to schedule sex. That is never going to happen,” she said.
“We put each other first. I call it the oxygen-mask mentality—take care of yourself first!”

“I've never believed in someone taking care of me, and that's probably because I grew up poor and without a lot of family stability.”
