Prince to take Hit & Run tour to US

Prince and his band 3rdEyeGirl are planning a version of their British Hit & Run Tour for the U.S. but, like its foreign counterpart, you won't know if it's coming to a city near you until right before it happens.

Prince has announced the first show of the tour on March 14 in Louisville, KY but, with only one week until showtime, a venue hasn't been announced. Louisville is the hometown of 3rdEyeGirl guitarist Hannah Welton.

The Louisville Courier-Journal reports that tickets will go on sale, through Livenation, on Monday at 10 AM EDT.

While this appears to be just more Prince eccentricity, let's face it. Isn't it better to pay for your tickets and see the show a few days later than buy them in February for a November date?
