Ben Lee has gathered up his famous friends including Zooey Deschanel, Sean Lennon and Neil Finn for ‘A Mix Tape From Ben Lee’ to raise funds for the Q’ero people of Peru, the last living people of the Inca culture.

Lee has made the recordings available on a “donate what you want” basis with a minimum donation of $1 starting you off. All proceeds will go to the Q’ero Project. “The release of the mixtape project is a great milestone for me, as it has been in the works for over a decade. I’m looking forward to sharing the music with my loyal fans, as well as supporting one of my favorite charities, Inkarri, for their wonderful Q’ero Project,” Lee said in a statement. “Above all my plan is what it has always been: to sing about love and the search for human compassion, connection, and dignity, and with a little luck, to inspire courage and hope in the listener.”

Ben Lee will release his 10th album ‘Love Is The Great Rebellion’ through Warner Music. “This is a very exciting time for me artistically and professionally,” he says. “After almost 23 years in the music business I never presume to know what is around the next corner, and I certainly didn’t see signing to Warner Bros. Records coming”.

Ben will preview the album with the single ‘Big Love’ released for Record Store Day at Easter.
