Rihanna is reportedly interested in Leonardo DiCaprio's close friend.
The 26-year-old singer and Hollywood star have set the rumour mill turning with their regular outings, most recently being spotted leaving New York's Up & Down nightclub together in the early hours of Valentine's Day.
However, according to New York Daily News' Confidenti@l, Rihanna isn't actually pursuing Leo. According to the publication, it's club owner and Leo's close friend Richie Akiva the songstress has her eye on.
It's thought Leo is playing wingman for his pal and has been showing interest in other women while Rihanna and Richie get closer.
“If they’re not dating, they’re hanging out, you know?” an insider divulged.
“Richie was with Rihanna in St. Bart’s [over New Year's] - that’s where it started. They’ve been hanging out together a lot.”
During this getaway the insider revealed Leo spent most of his time at the beach while his two friends stayed in close proximity of each other.
And earlier this week Rihanna and Richie apparently hit the businessman's hot spot Up & Down again, where a regular attendee at the venue insisted it was clear the pair were there together.
“She’s not showing up with Leo, she’s showing up with Richie,” they explained before adding that the entrepreneur took to the microphone to give his date a shout-out before the DJ spun one of her tracks.
“I’ve been at 25 to 30 clubs where Rihanna was hanging out. If anyone else had done that, she would’ve been p**sed.”
When Leo turned up, the onlooker noted Richie was "bouncing between" him and Rihanna, while the Bajan beauty enjoyed her night singing and dancing away.
