Puff Daddy allegedly punched a fan during a Super Bowl party.

The music mogul had been slated to host an evening at a nightclub in Arizona on Saturday. But having reportedly turned up late and spending much of his time in the VIP area, a fan claims Puff hit him when he confronted him about his tardiness and seeming disinterest.

The man in question, Steven Donaldson, was annoyed because he had paid $100 to see the star and couldn’t believe that he only showed up at 1.15am.

However a video obtained by TMZ shows that Steven may have provoked the star with his expletive filled rants.

“Thank you for not performing tonight you f**king a**hole,” he can be heard as Puff passes him before the shot moves to looking at the rapper sitting at the bar with a drink. Steven can then be heard saying; “Get the f**k on stage and perform.”

The footage then cuts to a man being dragged away and this is when Steven says the 45-year-old star had punched him.
He also alleges that security tackled him – not Puff - and chucked him out from the party.

TMZ adds that law enforcement sources say the musician had left by the time police arrived, but a very intoxicated Steven was there and filed a battery report.

The outlet has contacted the rapper’s spokesperson for comment but has currently had no response on the alleged incident.

Puff made no reference to any ongoing police issues on his social media accounts either, instead posting positive messages to his fans.

“Sometimes you have to just focus on the things that make you happy... #LiveMore #WorryLess #LetsGo!! (sic)” he wrote on Instagram on Tuesday.
