Solange Knowles reveals she “danced for days” during her son’s field trip in New Orleans.

The 28-year-old singer-and-fashionista is parent to 10-year-old Daniel Julez from a previous relationship.

And Solange has reflected on a recent field trip she embarked on with her son for his school in New Orleans, Louisiana, where the family resides.

“This past week in Nola I.....Saw a thousand elementary kids play and sing along with the Louisiana philharmonic symphony on my sons field trip at the Mahalia Jackson theatre...

Went to Big Chief, Bo Dollis' funerals Mardi Gras Indian March and danced for days....(sic),” she shared on Instagram Monday in a caption attached to a picture of a Mardi Gras Indian donning a bright costume.

“Walked a couple blocks up to see a bit of the Krewe Du Vieux parade, but actually made our own little parade home with friends to ‘Happy’ blaring from our speakers, literally jumping with joy....

“Had my windows open and heard my whole neighborhood sing the national anthem during the Superbowl at the top of their lungs.... Watched Julez and his friend sing songs for passerby's on the street from our balcony....Took early morning walks where EVERY single person on the street smiled and said good morning…”

Solange absolutely loves living in New Orleans as she gets endless inspiration from the metropolis.

“I am so grateful to continuously experience the endless magic, soul, pride, and generosity of this city. It never gets old. It always inspires,” she wrote. “I'm so proud to call you home New Orleans. Thank you for having me.”

Solange recently tied the knot with music director Alan Ferguson, having hosted their nuptials in New Orleans last November.
