UK psych rockers TOY are to headline Club Attitude – an inclusive gig showcasing exemplary live music accessibility for Deaf & disabled music fans - at Islington Assembly Hall on Tuesday 24th March.
TOY have already supported Attitude is Everything’s 2014 #MusicWithoutBarriers campaign, joining the likes of Alt-J, The Cure, Chvrches, Belle & Sebastian and Stevie Wonder in backing the charity’s call for equal access.
Signed to the UK’s legendary Heavenly Recordings label, the band have built a strong following from their stunning live shows, whilst their two albums - 2012’s eponymous debut and follow-up, Join The Dots - have drawn effusive praise from the likes of NME, Mojo, The Guardian, The Quietus, Clash and Alternative Press.
Speaking ahead of Club Attitude, TOY’s Tom Dougall said “Live music is for everyone. We fully support Attitude is Everything’s work encouraging more Deaf and disabled fans to experience live music and are honoured to be playing such an innovative and forward-thinking night as Club Attitude.”
