Chris Brown’s probation has been revoked.

The 25-year-old singer attended a progress report with Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin on Thursday.
But the judge voiced his concerns about the probation report he had received, after discovering that Chris had been at two different venues when shootings occurred, according to TMZ.com.

The first happened in August last year, when Chris was performing at 1OAK nightclub. Several people, including singer Suge Knight, were shot as Chris was on stage.

The second occurred last weekend, with five people injured as the R&B star performed in San Jose.

In addition to the reported concerns about Chris’ presence at the venues where the shootings occurred, the judge also raised the point that Chris had travelled out of Los Angeles for a concert – violating his probation in the process.

In December, Chris had been told that he could not leave Los Angeles without prior permission being granted.

However, Chris’ attorney Mark Geragos told the judge that his legal team had incorrectly told the singer he didn’t need permission to leave LA for the show in San Jose, Northern California.

Judge Brandlin told Chris that he would be allowed to remain out of jail until a further hearing on March 20, when he will be presented with an updated probation report from officials.

If Chris is found to have “willfully” violated the terms of his probation, he could be sentenced to jail time.

There is also the issue of Chris’ community service. He was due to finish 1,000 hours of community service by the end of January. However, he still has approximately 200 hours to complete.

Following his attack on ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, it was made clear Chris’ punishment should involve hard labour. Apparently he’s been working at a facility where he paints, removes trash, cleans and moves furniture.

Chris' probation was revoked in 2013 after he was accused of hitting a man outside a Washington, DC hotel in October that year. He also ended up serving time in prison last year after he was kicked out of rehab.
