Slash's wife is reportedly ready to fight for a considerable divorce settlement.

The rockstar tied the knot with Perla Ferrar in 2001 and the couple have sons Cash, ten, and 12-year-old London together.

Last week speculation about their marriage ended when Slash filed for divorce. He previously filed papers in 2010 but retracted them, although this time it's thought the decision is final.

TMZ now claims he and Perla didn't have a prenup, so she is reportedly relying on a lawyer to help her figure out the terms of their split. Her legal representative is said to be looking into everything from property to Slash's album sales, with Perla readying to fight for 50 per cent.

But the website reports she won't be entitled to any funds from Slash's time in Guns N' Roses, as they were gained before their marriage.

Slash has released several albums since they have been husband and wife, two of which were with his band Velvet Revolver, so has earned a considerable amount during their time together.

Last month Perla reportedly left for Hawaii with her kids before the divorce papers were filed, following her apparently issuing Slash a deadline to work on their marriage. But TMZ reports Slash has already moved on, reportedly ruining any chance of him and Perla reconciling.

When he first filed for divorce he cited “irreconcilable differences”, but it was only a year later that he and his wife renewed their vows. It seems his kids were one of the reasons he thought twice about the split.

“I want to make sure that I instil in my children some of the values that kept me grounded growing up," he previously told British newspaper The Independent.
