Pitbull plans to “make history” in 2015.

The 3-year-old Miami born rapper and music producer has already hit the number one position on the pop music charts multiple times throughout his career. But according to him, this year is going to see him soar to even higher places.

“My goal and slogan for 2015 is ‘Make history,’” he told People magazine.

In 2014, Pitbull received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, already cementing his name in record books. His new album Globalization was later released to critical acclaim on November 24.

The suave star has explained how he keeps himself relaxed and healthy throughout his time celebrating in the limelight.

“Vitamins in the morning, then I drink a little Voli [vodka] with water and three limes before I go onstage. And in the afternoon, tea keeps me going,” he told the publication. “And sex!”

Location is also an important factor for Pitbull when it comes winding down. Popular bikini-laden beaches are a hotspot for the hitmaker when he gets time off.

“I love going to Key Largo or Exuma [in the Bahamas],” he explained. “My hobby is to disconnect – go away to a sexy beach, unplug and just relax.”

Pitbull first rose to fame when he performed on fellow rapper Lil Jon’s 2002 album Kings of Crunk, and later went on to make numerous hits with superstars. Jennifer Lopez, Kesha, Christina Aguilera, Enrique Iglesias, Akon and Chris Brown are among the singers he’s created pop songs with.

Recently, he and Kesha’s upbeat track Timber hit the number one spot in 20 countries across the globe and charted worldwide.
