Ciara is reportedly doing her best to “keep things civil” with Future.
The 29-year-old Goodies songstress is said to have called off her engagement with the rapper in October after rumours emerged he was unfaithful.
The pair welcomed son Future Jr. in May and apparently they’re attempting to remain amicable for the sake of their child.
"He is a great father," a source told E! News. "They want to keep things civil for the baby."
It’s claimed Ciara and Future tried to reconcile after speculation that he cheated on her.
But the gorgeous singer was allegedly unable to move on from the rumours of his infidelity.
"They tried to work things out between them but it could not be saved," the insider detailed. "Ciara could not get over what had happened. She is focusing on her baby and friends now. Her baby is the most important person in her life."
Ciara tattooed the initial ‘N’ on her finger, in honour of Future’s Christian name, Nayvadius Wilburn.
However, it’s believed this imprint will be lifted from her hand soon.
"She is in the process of removing her tattoo at this time," the source said.
It also appears Ciara may be open to dating now that her romance with Future is over.
According to the New York Post, Ciara caught the eye of a hunky model when she attended the Polo Ralph Lauren show held in Central Park a few months ago.
Onlookers say the male model sent his number to the singer via park security.
