The 24-year-old Australian musician posted a lengthy Twitter message on Wednesday revealing what she has in store for her loyal followers in 2015.

And with a tour and new album on the horizon, Iggy said she has faith that the next 12 months will be her most exciting yet.

“Every year people doubt me and say it will be my ‘last’ year, but as i look back i realize things only keep growing and improving for me (sic).

“its actually been an amazing last few years getting to where I'm at now and i can't wait for 2015 and album 2 plus tour!
“i just feel like the best is yet to come for me and 2014 was all about getting things in order and now its time to really have fun with it (sic).”

Iggy also posted that she hopes to provide some kind of inspiration for those who had struggled in previous years.

Admitting she found 2011 and 2012 tough herself, Iggy added that her current success has made her realise that perseverance is key.

“Anyhow i hope anyone whos had a "bad" year can look at it as a year of growth for them,” Iggy wrote. “2011 and 2012 were the hardest years for me... but now i look back on them and i understand that it was needed for be to get tough and get things in order. everything happens as its meant i hope if your going thru it you take it as a pre cursor to your success and happiness and push on forward (sic).”

Iggy also used her Twitter post to reveal the name of her upcoming tour – The Great Escape Tour.
