Britney Spears has reportedly been double dating with her ex-husband.
The 32-year-old singer confirmed she has found love with Charlie Ebersol, who is the son of Saturday Night Live co-founder Dick Ebersol, earlier this month. Things were thought to be moving quickly, with claims taking a surreal turn with the news the couple have been enjoying nights out with Britney's ex Kevin Federline and his new wife Victoria Prince.
"Kevin's totally given his stamp of approval. Charlie's a real charmer with a great sense of humour and the kids adore him," an insider told British magazine Heat.
Britney has two children with Kevin; Sean Preston, nine, and eight-year-old Jayden James. He apparently wanted to make sure Charlie was a good guy, seeing as he was spending so much time with his sons.
"Kevin's a hands-on dad, and he's well within his rights to be fussy about who gets to hang out with his sons," the source said. "But all his fears went out the window when he and Charlie met for the first time. Britney's so happy right now and everyone's saying she's finally found a good one."
Earlier this week it was suggested that, even though the romance is still quite new, Britney is diving in with both feet. The star is thought to have asked Charlie to live with her at her home in California when she is on a break from her Las Vegas residency, and has even made a change to her dressing room door in Las Vegas, which is now emblazoned with a star saying 'Mrs E'.
